When 1,140 HP Won’t Do, Twin Turbo Koenigsegg Agera R

Koenigsegg fits twin-turbochargers from One:1 to older Ageras

Koenigsegg makes one of the most insane cars on the road today. If you want one of the most awesome of cars, the One:1, you are out of luck as there were only seven ever made.  However, for one lucky client, they added the turbos from the One:1 to make a twin turbo Koenigsegg Agera R.

Koenigsegg clients are a demanding bunch. They are used to pretty much used to getting whatever they want. Koenigsegg being the customer service oriented bunch that they are, are used to delivering it.

If you already own an Agera R and decide you need more, Koenigsegg will deliver as the video below shows.

The owner of the car below already had a Koenigsegg. Deciding he needed more, he approached the company to see what they could do. The company happily obliged and upgraded to the customer’s Agera R with the same Variable Geometry Twin Turbos that can be found on the One:1.

Koenigsegg is not the only manufacturer using variable geometry twin turbos, the same can be found on the Porsche 911 Turbo. The turbo technology brings benefits on the top end and also allows for a more balanced approach across the rev range.

The results of the turbo technology you see here increases the output of the Agera R from 1,140 horsepower to 1,400 horsepower. This is more than enough to do considerable damage on either the roadway or the track.
