Performance and design enhancements for the Mercedes AMG C450 by Vath
There really isn’t much room to improve upon the Mercedes-AMG C450 with its 3.0-liter twin turbocharged V6 engine. Producing 362 horsepower and 383 pound-feet of torque, the high performance C-Class is already enough for most people.
However, if you are one of those people who need more, the team at Vath can certainly help you. German tuner Vath specializes in getting more performance out of Mercedes Benz vehicles. The new C-Class is their latest project.
Vath starts their tuning process under the hood where hey increase performance of the 3.0 liter twin turbocharged V6 to 435 horsepower and 560 pound-feet of torque. This is accomplished as a result of their V45 in-house tuning kit that focuses on optimizing the engine electronics. Additional enhancements include an upgraded engine management system that is designed to deal with the additional performance. The electronic top speed limiter is also disabled enabling the car to accelerate all the way through past the 185 mile per hour mark.
Mechanical enhancements for the AMG C45 also include an new exhaust system with quad mufflers and VA-stainless steel valves for the car. A suspension kit is also available which lowers the stance of the vehicle by 20 to 40 millimeter depending upon the suspension system selected.
The final available mechanical enhancement is a high performance braking system that is designed for the increasing demands of the high performance engin.
Once finished under the hood, upgrades move to the exterior of the vehicle where Vath can add a new aggressive body kit if you so desire. The final enhancements consist of an aggressive 19-inch alloy wheel wrapped in size 245/35ZR19 rubber.
The Vath tuning kit is available for the new AMG C450 in all available body styles.
