German Tuner Oettinger offers a range of performance kits for the Audi RS 3 Sportback increasing output from 430 to 750HP
Audi’s RS 3 Sportback 2.5 TFSI engine was already putting out 367 horsepower making it one powerful and fast little car. The engineers at Oettinger, felt the potent little engine was capable of more. By modifying the intake routing, turbocharger, and exhaust system, the German tuner was able to squeeze a very impressive 520 horsepower out of the engine. This is good for a 0 to 60 time of right around 3.3 seconds. This is very close to Audi R8 V10 performance levels. This is Oettinger’s stage 2 performance package for the Audi RS3.
Stage 1 performance kits increase output of the 2.5-liter TFSI engine from 367 horsepower in stock form to 430 horsepower and 461 lb-ft of torque. Stage 3 boosts output to 650 horsepower and 553 lb-ft of torque.
For those who want insane levels of performance for their Audi RS3 Sportback, Oettinger can scratch that itch as well. Their most aggressive set up, stage 4 will add forged pistons with steel connecting rods, a new thermostat, an upgraded intercooler and a range of additional goodies to produce a whopping 750 horsepower and 664 lb-ft of torque.
Unfortunately, information is scare about the stage four set up so you may have to do a bit of digging or just pick up the phone and contact Oettinger directly.
