Their latest performance packages for the BMW M6 Gran Coupe ranges from 641 horsepower to 730 horsepower.
To get 641 horsepower out of BMW’s twin-turbocharged S63 V8 engine, G Power offers a remap of the vehicles electronic control unit (ECU). However, if you want more than that, it is going to take a bit more than a plug-and-play solution.
When the remap of the ECU is combined with the reduction of exhaust backpressure through the use of gas-optiimized steel downpipes, the result is 690 horsepower and 667 lb-ft of torque.
To achieve the maximum affect of 730 horsepower, the remap of the ECU is combined with a full-length titanium exhaust system that weighs almost 25 pounds less than the exhaust system that the M6 Gran Coupe left the factory with. These modifications are sufficient to produce zero to 124 mile per hour sprints in 10.5 seconds, accelerating to 202 miles per hour.
G Power enhancements to the M6 Gran Coupe extend to the interior of the vehicle as well in the form of high quality leather with carbon fiber insert treatments that rival workmanship and quality of materials used by Bentley and Rolls Royce.
