G-Power BMW X6 M Typhoon, Stormlike Speed

Widened and Boosted BMW X6 M has a top speed of 186 miles per hour

German BMW tuner, G-Power has unveiled their latest monster performance package, the G-Power BMW X6 M Typhoon.

Based on the BMW X6 M, the high performance crossover benefits from the likes of an aggressive widebody kit that includes a new front bumper with larger air intakes to improve ventilation under the hood. It also receives a ventilated carbon fiber hood, aerodynamic side skirts and muscular wheel arches. Moving to the back of the vehicle, there is a carbon fiber diffuser and four-tailpipe titanium exhaust system.

Enhancements are not just limited to a body kit, a coilover suspension and 23-inch Hurricane RR forged allow wheels are also included and are available in Jet Black, Gun Metal Grey, or Stardust Silver finish.

The heart of the kit is literally the engine. The 4.4-liter M-powered twin turbo V8 engine has been thoroughly massaged with new, larger turbochargers, new downpipes, and an optimized electronic control unit. The result is 750 horsepower and 722 pound-feet of torque an increase of 175 horsepower and 169 pound-feet of torque over what it left the factory with.

While G-Power would not disclose specifics about performance capabilities, they did confirm that the BMW X6 M Typhoon could zip through the quarter mile in 11.5 seconds accelerating all the way through to a top speed of 186 miles per hour.

Big performance often comes for a big price. That is especially the case here as the vehicle shown here comes in at $58,829 and that does not include the price of the vehicle itself.
