Updated 2017 Chevrolet Colorado Unveiled in Brazil
Chevrolet recently debuted an updated Colorado for International markets in Brazil. Set to go on sale later this year as a 2017 model, the Chevrolet Colorado is much more rugged than its US-based counterpart as it is designed for the rigors of travel and work in a developing country.
Interior updates to the 2017 Colorado are more pronounced and include a redesigned dashboard, a modern instrument cluster and a MyLink infotainment system. Additional interior highlights include more durable and user-friendly switchgear, new door panels and the extensive use of higher quality materials. New options for 2017 include rain sensing wipers, an electrochromatic rear view mirror and a rear view camera.
Exterior updates are most apparent at the front of the vehicle where a newly redesigned grille and hood are integrated with a new slimmer headlight that features integrated LED daytime driving lights. Additional highlights include restyled wheels and a refreshed color palette.
Highlights for the 2017 model year include a 5% improvement in fuel efficiency as a result of better aerodynamics and the use of lighter materials as well as the extensive use of higher quality materials throughout the interior of the vehicle.
The 2017 Chevrolet Colorado is sold in several International markets and marketed as the S10 in Brazil. Additionally, the Colorado will be sold in some countries under the Holden nameplate.
