Bentley debuts New Mulsanne First Edition in Beijing

Limited to 50 First Editions across the Mulsanne range of vehicles

With one month having passed since Bentley rolled out their Bentley Mulsanne in Geneva, they are unveiling their first limited edition bespoke vehicle.

Based on the Bentley Mulsanne and limited to just fifty units across the entire range of Mulsanne models, the highly exclusive First Edition is being unveiled at the Beijing Auto Show this week.. The Mulsanne, performance-focused Mulsanne Speed, and hyper-luxurious Mulsanne Extended wheelbase will be available with the First Edition treatment.

Handcrafted at Bentley’s factory at Crewe, the First Edition has many interior appointments that take luxury to the next level including a vanity kit made by Asprey of London, that is inlaid into the rear picnic table. In includes a vanity mirror, hair brush and comb that fit perfectly within a discreet picnic table.

First Edition motifs and logos are located throughout the cabin that include a diametric overlay on the rear seat picnic tables, special thread plates and First Edition embroidery on the seats that are inspired by Union Jack.

The Bentley Extended Wheelbase on display at the Beijing Auto Show features a ripple patterned Fulbeck veneer sourced from a 350 year-old English walnut tree. Having paid a record price at auction, a sufficient quantity of the treasured wood was sourced to create veneer panels for a small number of First Edition Bentley vehicles.

In addition to the Bentley Mulsanne First Edition, the Flying Spur V8 S, the latest addition to the Flying Spur family will be making an appearance at the Beijing Auto Show in addition to one-off Bentayga by Mulliner .
