G-Power Works Their Magic on the New BMW M4

BMW M4 G-Power puts out almost 600 horsepower

The BMW M4 is already a very capable performer putting out 425 horsepower from its turbocharged 3.0 liter 6-cylinder motor. What happens when tuner G-Power gets their hands on the car to work some of their magic?

The result is what you see here.

Based in Germany, G-Power has been specializing in modifying BMWs since 1971 to put out huge amounts of horsepower and performance. As a result, they knew exactly what needed to be done to extract well over 500 horsepower in the car you see here.

G-Power starts by implementing its Bi-Tronik 2 V1 ECU to boost output to 513 horsepower and 516 lb-ft of torque. Still need more? If the answer is yes, G-Power has additional tricks up their sleeve to wrangle out 592 horsepower and 545 lb-ft of torque. This is accomplished through a combination of hardware and software upgrades starting with a completely modified turbocharger incorporating starting with a lighter wheel and finishing with the housing.

What does all of this get you?

It gets you the ability to launch from 0 to 62 miles per hour in 3 seconds accelerating all the way to a top speed of 199 miles per hour.

Engineering modifications are topped off with the addition of a ultra-lightweight exhaust system that puts out a ferocious growl. G-Power takes pride in the amount of effort they have put into the design of the exhaust system to get the sound and performance they have achieved.

To complete the package, G-Power adds a set of fully adjustable coil-overs and a set of 21-inch Hurricane RR rims.
